About this Event
Are you ready to strengthen your practice and meaningfully embed First Nations perspectives in the way you teach, lead, deliver services, design programs or engage with communities?
Join us for this two-day, face-to-face professional development workshop exploring the 8 Ways Aboriginal Pedagogy Framework, held at the iconic Australian Museum in Sydney.
Designed for educators, professionals and teams from organisations across sectors, the workshop will build your understanding of the 8 Ways and help you translate the framework into practical, culturally grounded approaches relevant to your own setting.
On Day 2, you’ll take part in a guided First Nations-led tour of Garrigarrang: Sea Country, the Museum’s permanent exhibition celebrating the knowledge and cultures of Salt Water People. Building on this immersive experience, you’ll explore how the 8 Ways Framework can inform classroom learning, program design, service delivery, workplace practice and community engagement.
Whether you’re new to the framework or ready to deepen your practice, you’ll leave with practical tools, cultural insights and greater confidence to create learning and working environments that are respectful, inclusive and connected to Country.
