Expect an immersive, alternative market filled with original artwork, hand-poured apothecary, ethically sourced oddities, and unique dark-holiday gifts that nod to ancient Alpine traditions, nocturnal creatures, and the untraditional spirit of the season.This year, our market falls perfectly across Thanksgiving weekend. Instead of feeding the corporate machine, we are reclaiming Small Business Saturday and extending it through Sunday to put money directly into the hands of independent artists and local makers. When you buy a gift here, you aren't just crossing a name off your list—you are funding an artist's livelihood, supporting a small business, and taking home something that was made with actual human hands and a whole lot of soul. In 2026, we proudly moved our Holy Bones Artisan Markets into a new permanent home at the historic Michigan Firehouse Museum. Located in the heart of Ypsilanti’s Depot Town, this incredible space offers three sprawling floors of beautifully preserved firehouse exhibits, antique trucks, and local history. It is the perfect, atmospheric backdrop for our dark artisan markets, and we highly encourage you to explore the museum exhibits while you shop.
