FRIGHTENING 48 FILM FESTIVAL IS BACK! Presented by PRIMAA — Peace Region Independent Media Arts Association
Think you can make a horror short in just 48 hours? Now’s your chance — and this year, registration is FREE!
- THE CHALLENGE
- Starts: October 2, 2026 at 7:00 PM
- Ends: October 4, 2026 at 7:00 PM
You’ll have exactly 48 hours to create a short film between 2–7 minutes.
When the competition begins, your team will be assigned:
- A prop
- A line of dialogue
You must incorporate both into your film — and then write, shoot, edit and submit your finished film before the deadline!
- WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
Films that are successfully submitted on time and meet all the competition rules and regulations will be screened on the big screen at:
- KMSC Law Performing Arts Centre
- Grande Prairie, Alberta
- October 30, 2026
- 7:00 PM
