The Australian Songwriters Association (ASA) invites you to attend the Canterbury-Hurlstone Park RSL Club for a night filled with incredible music and talented songwriters. The Top 10 from each Category in the 2026 Australian Songwriting Contest will be unveiled, with the songwriters saluted on stage and all the winning songs presented live. The incredible John Williamson will provide an up-close and personal performance as he is inducted into the Australian Songwriters Hall of Fame, an important moment to witness as it will be well-remembered in the annuls of the Australian music industry. The Radiators' eternally productive songwriters will also perform, after music journalist Bernie Howitt uses his inimitable interviewing style to pull some wisdom from them about the secrets of their longevity in this 'crazy biz'. In a packed room, with top sound and lighting production, you will be able to enjoy wonderful hospitality with food and drinks all night, and the company of elite music industry personnel, including celebrity presenters. This glittering event exists to provide a huge celebration of the art of songwriting, and of the original songwriters amoungst us, who passionately keep on keeping on. It's a night for all music lovers, and lots of fun, so dress up in your sharpest (hot pink is the theme, but it's not obligatory!).
