Explore what your business could become with AI, the decisions that matter and where to start.
About this Event

Part of the North East Entrepreneurship Week fringe programme, brought together by the Entrepreneurs' Forum.

What could your business become with AI?

See how a company could operate in 2030, with AI a deliberate part of its everyday operations. Explore the choices behind its structure, the way it serves customers and how it has reduced costs and manual administration while staying in control.

In this interactive experience, you'll see business decisions brought to life, question the choices being made and explore what they could mean for your own company.

We keep things centred on familiar management questions:

  • Customers and growth: what could you offer, and how might your customers' expectations change?
  • People and work: who does what, and how do responsibilities change?
  • Investment and profitability: how do you assess and prioritise investment, and what needs to change in the business for it to deliver results?
  • Leadership and control: what are your options, what trade-offs do they involve and which key decisions do you need to make?

Through demonstrations, discussion and practical work, you'll explore how these questions connect across the whole business and why they need the full leadership team's attention. You'll also consider the customers, partners and other organisations that could impact your company's future.

By the end of the morning, you'll leave with:

  • A different perspective on AI, set in a business context you recognise
  • New possibilities for how your company could operate, compete and grow
  • A clearer view of the challenges, trade-offs and decisions ahead
  • A practical starting point for exploring your company's future with your leadership team, so you can begin answering:

What does your 2030 company look like?

Who it's for

The morning is for owners, directors and senior leaders of established North East businesses, including those leading technology functions.

You don't need technical experience. Whether you're working out where to start with AI or already using it across your organisation, the focus is on the business decisions: what to pursue, what to prioritise and how to make it work.

Hosted by (Founder, & ), with:

The small print

This morning is for owners, directors and senior leaders of North East businesses. Places are limited, so registering your interest doesn't confirm a place. We'll be in touch to confirm, and if we can't offer you a place this time, we'll send you the materials from the morning. Confirmed places are personal to you and can't be passed on. If you can no longer come, please let us know as soon as you can so we can offer your place to someone else.

FAQs

Do I need technical experience?

No. The session focuses on business decisions and management questions. It is relevant to both business and technology leaders, whether you're exploring AI or already using it across your organisation.

What kind of morning is it?

An interactive experience combining demonstrations, discussion and practical work. You'll have opportunities to question what you see and explore the choices with other business leaders.

Will it be relevant to my sector?

The morning centres on questions that businesses across sectors face: customers, people, work, investment and control. The details you give when you register help us prepare for the businesses in the room.

Can I bring a colleague?

Your ticket is personal to you. Your colleagues may also register for the event separately.

Why do you ask about my business when I register?

Places are limited and we want a room where everyone gets the most from the morning and from each other. Your answers help us do that and prepare for the businesses attending. We'll email you to confirm whether a place is available.

Is anything being sold?

There is no sales pitch and no unsolicited sales follow-up. You'll receive the materials from the morning. Hearing about future events is your choice.

Where is it?

The event is being hosted in Newcastle city centre. We'll email location, travel and parking details to confirmed attendees before the day.

What if I can no longer come?

Cancel through Eventbrite or reply to your confirmation email as soon as you know, so we can offer your place to someone else.

What about access or dietary needs?

Tell us when you register. We'll be in touch about your requirements and send access information before the day.
