The 2026 ATHENA Leadership Awards Luncheon will celebrate the remarkable women of Lakeland who lead with intention, uplift those around them, and make a lasting impact within our community. We are beyond proud to announce that Sara Roberts McCarley is this year's recipient of the 2026 ATHENA Leadership Award. We’re excited to honor Lakeland’s first elected female Mayor and her commitment to our community and our future leaders!Register or reserve a table here: https://bit.ly/4ycofhX
Our Keynote Speaker will be Heather Cogar, Statewide Director of Community Engagement, Florida Chamber of Commerce. Heather serves as Statewide Director of Engagement and Community Outreach for the Florida Chamber Foundation’s Florida Prosperity Initiative, where she works to build partnerships that address the root causes of childhood poverty. Her personal journey from trauma to transformation fuels her passion for creating pathways to prosperity and breaking the cycle of generational poverty.
This year’s celebration will also recognize the graduating class of the ATHENA Leadership Circle Cohort 2, facilitated by Michelle Ledford, highlighting our community’s continued commitment to developing and empowering women leaders.
