One Night. One Community. One Great Cause.After a five-year break, Lauri and I are bringing back something that has always meant a great deal to us — the Kenmore East/Kenmore West Music Festival Benefit.
For ten years, we came together with friends, musicians, and our community to raise money for local people battling cancer. Each year, we chose someone from the Kenmore area who was fighting the disease and dedicated the event to helping them and their family.
We eventually stepped away from the benefit, but this year we felt it was time to bring it back.
This time, we're coming together to support our friend Scott Meer, who is battling esophagus cancer.
Scott has always been part of the music and community around us, and now it's our turn to stand behind him. The photos on this poster tell part of the story — memories of better days, Scott facing treatment, and the music that has brought so many of us together over the years.
This cause is especially close to our hearts. Lauri is a cancer survivor herself, so we understand how much a little support, love, and knowing that people are standing beside you can mean during a difficult fight.
