PopMotion Pictures & The Eugene Art House presents a special 30th anniversary celebration of the Tom Hanks directorial classic 'That Thing you Do!' A Pennsylvania band scores a hit in 1964 and rides the star-making machinery as long as it can, with lots of help from its manager. But behind the scenes, the group’s sudden fame tests their strength, their maturity and responsibility, and their ability to resist the temptations that money and notoriety always make possible.
That Thing You Do! has evolved over the last three decades from a modest box office disappointment to a beloved, wholesome cult classic that’s best enjoyed on the big screen with fellow fans of the film! Don’t miss it!
This will be the Theatrical Cut of the film that runs 108 minutes.
There will be bonus material, and an introduction by local filmmaker Taylor Morden who boldly claims that this is "the single greatest movie ever made". Come find out if he is is even remotely correct.
