The National Museum of Mathematics (MoMath), the leading math museum in North America, announces its collaboration with The Science Theater Company to present That Math Show at Theater555 (555 West 42nd Street, New York, NY). That Math Show is created by and features Dr. Arthur Benjamin, a nationally known "mathemagician" and MoMath’s current Visiting Professor for Public Outreach, who shares the beauty and magic of mathematics.
In the delightful one-man show, Dr. Benjamin performs feats of mental calculation and mathematical magic and talks about Fibonacci numbers, pi, and other surprising patterns. Part of the fun is that he also teaches the audience how some of it works. This presentation is directed by Eric Krebs.
Performances are set to begin with previews on Thursday, June 11 with an official opening on Sunday, June 21 at 3:00 pm. The show is scheduled to run through August 16, 2026.
