About this Event
Emmy® Award-winning producer, actor, and stand-up powerhouse Ron G is a rare, multi-hyphenate talent whose career is defined by high-octane energy and a "no-miss" reputation. A cornerstone of the modern entertainment landscape, Ron G has become a sought-after collaborator for industry titans, from his breakout as a finalist on Last Comic Standing to his scene-stealing roles in HBO’s Insecure and the Lionsgate feature 2 Minutes of Fame starring Jay Pharoah and Katt Williams.
What sets Ron G apart is his remarkable demographic versatility and his ability to masterfully dissect the complexities of modern human connection. A premier voice in the "relationship comedy" space, Ron’s material offers a sharp, hilarious, and often vulnerable look at the evolution of dating, manhood, and the search for authentic partnership in a digital age. He seamlessly transitions from the gritty authenticity of the stand-up stage to family-friendly leading roles on Nickelodeon’s Cousins for Life and Disney’s Stuck in the Middle, while currently starring as the brother of the legendary MC Lyte on the hit sitcom Partners in Rhyme.
Beyond the screen, Ron G is a decorated creator, earning an Emmy® for his visionary production work on CNN’s United Shades of America. As the long-standing host of the iconic Chocolate Sundaes at the World Famous Laugh Factory, he remains the pulse of the Los Angeles comedy scene, commanding a loyal, sold-out following of over 600 guests every Sunday.
