About this Event
That favorite costume deserves another day out! 🦸👑
Join us at Shipgarten on Saturday, November 28, from 1–6 PM for our Thanksgiving Weekend Kids & Family Costume Festival! Bring your little superheroes, princesses, dinosaurs, and adventurers for an afternoon of costumes, character visits, friendly animals, and chocolate fondue.
The spotlight is waiting at our Kids’ Costume Fashion Show, where children can walk the runway, strike a pose, and show off whatever makes their costume special. A full superhero outfit? A favorite princess dress? Just a cape and a big imagination? They’re all welcome here.
After their runway moment, visit the petting zoo, pick something sweet to dip into chocolate, and get ready to meet Batman and Anna from Frozen!
🌟 YOUR LITTLE SUPERSTAR’S RUNWAY MOMENT
1:30–3 PM — Kids’ Costume Fashion Show
Let their imagination take center stage! Kids of all ages are invited to show off their favorite costumes and enjoy a moment in the spotlight.
This is a celebration of creativity—not a costume competition. Simple costumes, homemade creations, and favorite character outfits are all welcome.
Parents, have your cameras ready. And if you want to dress up too, we’d love to see it!
🐐 MEET THE ANIMALS
3–5 PM — Petting Zoo
Bring your little animal lovers to meet friendly farm animals and enjoy hands-on encounters together. Take a break from the runway excitement and make time for a few family photos.
🦇 SUPERHEROES & PRINCESSES, ASSEMBLE!
4:30–6 PM — Meet Batman & Anna from Frozen
Practice those superhero poses and bring your biggest smiles! Meet Batman and Anna, take photos, and finish your festival afternoon with two special character visits.
🍫 DIP INTO SOMETHING SWEET
1–6 PM — Chocolate Fondue
Enjoy $3 chocolate fondue dips, with your choice of dark or white chocolate.
Choose from strawberries, graham crackers, marshmallows, pretzels, apples, and pineapple. A sweet stop for little superheroes and grown-ups alike!
