**This event will be held at ALL THREE SLAP swim practices on 11/24 & 11/25...12p @ NTC, 6:30p @ Celebration & 6a @ NTC**The #SLAPPERS will be giving thanks by swimming as many laps as possible this Thanksgiving season...and also giving back to the local community food bank.
The SLAP Swim-A-Thon:
1) recruit $$ donations from friends/family
- donations can be a specific dollar amount
OR
- donations can be based on how many 100 yards you swim (ex: donate .10 cents per 100...you swim 3000 yards...donor gives you $3
2) show up to practice by 10 minutes early and already fueled, hydrated and MOTIVATED
3) all swimmers will enter the water and swim NONSTOP for one hour
4) count your laps/yards/distance and celebrate at the end
5) collect your donations and we will make a total team contribution to the local food bank from the #SLAPPERS
**SWIM LIKE A PRO WILL SPONSOR EVERY ATHLETE THAT PARTICIPATES IN THE SWIM-A-THON WITH A $10 DONATION!!
We will also have a Thanksgiving brunch after the Thanksgiving Swim-A-Thon to refuel and socialize with teammates. Please bring a food or drink item to share!
