For many young people who walk through the doors of CEDARS Youth Outreach Center (YOC), a meal is more than food. It is often the first sign that someone cares. It can mean a teen does not have to choose between eating and staying safe, and a connection to services can be the first step toward stability. In just one month, CEDARS YOC hands out 2,100 pounds of food to kids experiencing homelessness. But our shelves are running low, and we need your help to fill them in time for the holiday season.
On Wednesday, November 25, you're invited to stop by 93.7 The Ticket to make a gift of non-perishable food items for the kids at CEDARS. Hot coffee will also be available, courtesy of Pinnacle Bank.
You can help ensure vulnerable youth have food for tonight and hope for tomorrow.
