Hope and profound connection are on the way. Join us for our 10th Annual Thanksgiving Dinner on November 21st at 11:00 AM, hosted at St. Lucy's Catholic Church. We need your help to keep our doors open. After a tough year of cancellations including both annual cookouts and several Sandwich Saturdays we are putting everything into making this upcoming event a success, but we can't do it without you. Please come out, support, and help us keep this mission alive! This year marks over a decade of love, warmth, and dignity, and we need your help to pack the house. Volunteers of all kinds are welcome: all groups, religious facilities, sororities, families, and children of all ages. Our goal this year is monumental to bring full restoration and care: Provide over 200 cooked turkeys, side dishes, desserts, coffee, and hot cocoa. Experience dignity in action: Washing homeless' feet and providing brand new shoes and socks. Bring joy and celebration: We need barbers, hair stylists, nail technicians, face painters, and live bands and DJs for entertainment.
Donations of clothing and children's toys are also warmly accepted.
Can you cook a meal, sponsor the event, or volunteer to set up early? Join us in making this Thanksgiving a beacon of hope for Syracuse.
