Thanksgiving is drawing near so we will be collecting items for Thanksgiving Baskets for local families of Head Start. Non perishable items can be brought to the Club meeting on October 27th and we will have a donation container out if you would like to donate money towards purchasing food for the baskets. We will need Turkeys, Potatoes, butter, milk, stuffing, sweet potatoes, canned corn or green beans, Marshmallows, turkey gravy, brown gravy, rolls, canned Pie filling. Please bring only non perishable food items to the club meeting. We will need volunteers to go shopping for the baskets the morning the baskets will be delivered and deliver them to Head Start. This year the kids will get to come out and see the Jeeps so the more Jeeps the better. kids love Jeeps. I will have a count on how many baskets we will need and a time to deliver them by October 16th. I will post that information when it becomes available to me from Head Start.
