Overview of Course
In this class you will make a seascape themed bookmark with hand crafted embellishments. In the class you will learn a combination of hand-crafted techniques to create your fabric bookmark.
What will I learn?
In this workshop, you will learn how to create a fabric seascape themed bookmark.
You will be given a pre-made hand painted fabric base to work on this will be a guide to creating the fabric bookmark.
In this class you learn to applique to the build the seascape themed bookmark, then you will then learn some simplistic embroidery stitches. To create your bookmark, you will be provided with various hand dyed fabrics, printed fabrics, embroidery thread, reclaimed fabrics, a mix of reclaimed vintage lace and new lace and clay buttons to bring the seascape bookmark together.
This beautifully hand-crafted bookmark can be used as a keepsake or give as a beautifully hand-crafted gift.
Who is the course for?
The class is aimed at people who would like to try something new and loves crafts and would like to have a go at mix media fabric art. It is great for beginners and intermediate sewers no need to be artistic as you will be fully guided on how to make your fabric bookmark.
Will I have to provide anything?
You will be provided with all the materials needed for the workshop.
Am I ready to start?
If you would like to attend this class and have do some relaxing crafting, where you will also learn some fabric art methods, you are ready to start.
