About this Event
Wondering what it means to reconnect, rewild and restore the spaces we inhabit? Whether you tend a few houseplants in an apartment, a corner lot, or a sprawling estate, there are meaningful ways to support the native ecosystem around you.
In this inaugural gathering, Larkspur's Conservation and Stewardship Manager, Ross Rogers, will lead an exploration into the natural rhythms of our local environment. Participants will learn how our ecosystem changes over time, and how we can begin creating more diverse and resilient landscapes.
With a focus on seasonal stewardship, we’ll discuss practical fall tasks, winter species identification, and the role that native plants, natural chemical interactions, and even how death and decay play a part in a healthy ecosystem.
If you've been rethinking what it means to care for the land, or looking to discover ways to work with nature rather than against it, this eco-conscious gathering is for you.
