Learn about telling meaningful stories through film, television, and theater from leading professionals in the industry.
About this Event

Storytelling is an art form and one of the most meaningful ways to connect with people across any number of divides.

What goes on behind the scenes to develop a story and share it with others through film, television, or on stage isn’t well known outside the media industry. Producers, writers, and anchors all play important roles in bringing a story to life that captures an audience.

Who decides what story to tell? How do you prepare? What's your mindset as you write? Who can help you become a thought-shifting force? Where do you get inspiration? Should faith play a role in your craft?

Come learn first-hand how to tell meaningful stories through film, television, and the stage from leading professionals in the industry. Our panelists will discuss their experiences including their inspiration to impact others through engaging and fulfilling storytelling.

Our panelists include:

Marc Youngblood: Senior Writer/Producer and Field Director, Showtime Networks

Chris Cragin-Day: Playwright; Librettist; Screenwriter; Assoc. Professor of English and Theater at The King's College

Seth Parks: Director of Development at Guy Walks Into A Bar Productions; The King's College alum

Tina Cervasio: Lead Sports Anchor FOX 5 NY; Host of "Sports Xtra"; CBS Sports Network Sideline Reporter; SiriusXM NBA Radio

Chick-fil-A and Insomnia Cookies will be served.
