About this Event

The night sky is waiting at Vanderbilt Dyer Observatory!

Take a closer look at the cosmos through telescopes stationed around the Observatory grounds and our historic Seyfert Telescope. Step inside the Observatory to explore exhibits, enjoy interactive activities and discover something new about the universe. Whether you're an astronomy enthusiast or simply curious about the night sky, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Telescope Night is a relaxed, open-house-style experience with no formal presentation. Guests are welcome to explore at their own pace during their reserved time slot.

Telescope viewing depends on clear skies. If clouds or weather keep us from viewing the night sky, we still have a variety of different activites around the grounds for guests to enjoy!
