Friday 30th and Saturday 31st October | 4:30pm Dare to explore Raby Castle after dark?
Join us at twilight for a spooky torchlit tour and discover the mysterious stories, strange happenings and ghostly legends that have been passed down through generations at Raby Castle.
Your guides will meet you at the Roundhouse before leading you through the atmospheric 18th-century walled garden, surrounded by towering Yew Hedges. Then, by candlelight and torchlight, you’ll enter the castle to explore rooms that are usually off-limits to visitors.
Along the way, hear eerie tales about former residents, unexplained experiences and the strange encounters reported by people who have worked at the castle over the years.
Whether you believe in ghosts, this is an evening you won’t forget. Join us… if you dare!
Important information
Suitable for ages 12 and over.
Each teenager must be accompanied by at least 1 adult. Maximum of 2 Adults per teenager.
Groups are limited to 20 people.
The tour includes steep stairs, outdoor areas and unheated rooms, so warm clothing and suitable footwear are recommended.
The tour is not wheelchair accessible.
Please arrive on time — latecomers cannot be admitted.
Some stories and themes may be spooky or unsettling.
