Teen Studio: DIY Patches

Designed for high school students, this hands-on artmaking workshop invites teens to experiment with fabric, felt, embroidery, and other materials to design and create their own custom patches.

Whether you’re inspired by a favorite symbol, phrase, character, or an original design, you’ll have the opportunity to turn your ideas into wearable art that can be added to jackets, backpacks, jeans, or other fabric pieces. MOCAD staff will be available to provide guidance, materials, and creative support throughout the workshop.

Come hang out, make art, and leave with something that reflects your personal style. No previous sewing or embroidery experience is necessary.
