Is your teen or tween interested in photography? Do they want to learn the techniques, tips, and tricks to create powerful images? This course will cover essential photography concepts, helping students build confidence behind the camera while gaining a deeper understanding of how cameras function and the art of photography. Students should bring their own camera, whether it's a smartphone, point-and-shoot, or DSLR, whatever they want to learn with. While different camera types can impact fine art photography, this course focuses on concepts and techniques rather than specific tools.
Weather permitting, some classes may take place at local parks or downtown locations near the studio. Parents/guardians will be notified of any location changes at least one week in advance.
