Teen Fiction Book Club is back in November with a dark, magical fantasy full of ancient power, dangerous secrets, and a heroine forced to decide what kind of future she wants to fight for.Join us Thursday, November 19 from 6:30–7:30 PM as we discuss The Lustrous Dark by Loretta Chefchaouni. Shay has spent her life training as a midwife’s apprentice, but everything changes when she uncovers the truth about her birth mother and finds herself drawn into a conflict involving stolen magic, ancient spirits, and a world on the brink of war.
And for our high school writers, come a little early! Teen Writing Club meets from 5:30–6:30 PM, giving students a creative hour to work on fiction, poetry, journaling, character ideas, or whatever they’re currently writing before Book Club begins.
High school students are welcome to join us for one club or stay for both.
