About this Event
TEDxMarshallU's 10th annual event is themed "Unlocking Potential." Each of us has a unique combination of interests, talents, and perspectives which can result in infinite possibilities. Success is often defined by the ability to move beyond closed doors and reach towards ideals you only understand once those doors are opened. But how can you open these doors if they are locked? What prevents us from finding the missing pieces? What stops us from unlocking potential?
Join us at the 2026 Student Pitch Event as students present their ideas for talks to potentially be featured in the 2027 TEDxMarshallU main event. These pitches will reveal the keys that open the doors to possibilities which help us adapt and learn ways to unlock our potential.
Since 2019, TEDxMarshallU has brought “ideas worth spreading” to Marshall University, sparking meaningful conversations across our community. Organized by student interns in the Honors College, this year’s event continues that tradition—igniting dialogue, empowering voices, and unlocking potential.
