In a world that feels more divided, distracted, and fast-paced than ever, what does it truly mean to connect?About this Event
TEDxGosport 2026: Connection
TEDxGosport 2026 brings together bold thinkers, storytellers, and changemakers to explore the power of connection, between people, ideas, communities, and ourselves.
Through a series of thought-provoking talks, we’ll uncover how connection shapes our lives, drives progress, and creates meaning in an increasingly complex world.
Expect fresh perspectives, honest stories, and ideas worth spreading that challenge how you see relationships, communication, and belonging.
Whether you're seeking inspiration, new thinking, or simply a sense of shared experience, this is your invitation to reconnect.
You can expect:
- Networking
- A series of inspirational TEDx talks
- Refreshments throughout the day
- Some surprises!
Hosted by GoSport Activity Centre in Broderick Hall, this venue welcomes you to break out and enjoy views of the Alverstoke Creek during your breaks, connecting with others and sharing your views on the ideas being shared by our speakers.
What people said about last year:
"The speakers were brilliant but the care and attention to the 'feel' of the day was very impressive. A masterclass in how to curate an event. And I say that as someone who designs and delivers training for her job. Well played."
"To be in my home town. Amazing to have this event. All local speakers. Best part was inspirational talks to make you think!"
"The team were absolutely magnificent! The programming, length of breaks, music, were absolutely brilliant. And I chatted with so many interesting people. I also loved the quotes around the room, the free badges, and the food was amazing. I will be back!"
"My first TEDx - What an excellent day. I'm eager to do it again."
