Pack your picnic blanket, grab your little one's favorite teddy bear, and fill a bag with a few things your family is ready to pass along — we're having a Teddy Bear Picnic! 🧺🧸
Join East Valley Moms for a FREE morning on the green filled with play, hands-on activities, crafts, community and our first Toy & Baby Gear Swap of the season.
And while your littles are busy having fun? You'll have the chance to meet local preschool and childcare programs, chat with teachers and staff, and discover school options for your family in a way that feels a whole lot more like a playdate than a school fair.
🧺 How the Toy & Baby Gear Swap works
We're taking the community-swap concept you love and making it picnic-friendly!
Each family is asked to bring 5–20 clean, gently used items your kids have outgrown or aren't reaching for anymore.

🧩 Puzzles + games
📚 Children's books
👶 Small baby + toddler gear
🎒 Small kid accessories
We'll sort everything into our picnic-style swap area, and then families can browse and take home some new-to-them finds.
Bring a little. Find a little. Pass along what your family is done loving to another local family. 💛
To keep our outdoor swap manageable, please skip clothing and large baby gear, including car seats, cribs, mattresses and furniture.
📚 We're also launching our Education Issue!
This Teddy Bear Picnic is the official launch party for the newest East Valley Moms Education Issue.
We'll be joined by a dozen + local preschools, daycares and early-learning partners, each bringing an activity or craft for your littles to enjoy.
While they play, you can:

No presentations. No formal school fair. Just an easy morning to play and explore your options.

This event is completely FREE, but we ask that you RSVP. Your RSVP helps us plan for the number of families attending.
