Our annual Teddy Bear Hunt is back for Childrenās Week 2026! š§øšæ This much-loved event will once again bring children and families together through play, with this yearās hunt having a special focus on the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) and celebrating Childrenās Rights.

š Enjoy a special play space supported by Thrive
āļø Visit the Teddy Bear Weigh Station with the Child and Parenting Health Service (CHaPS) Tasmania
š§ŗ Bring along a picnic or some snacks and make a day of it!
Canāt make it during the day?
Our teddy bears will stay in their hiding spots overnight on Tuesday 27 October, giving families and school-aged children another chance to visit and hunt for them after school.
š¦ļø This is a weather-dependent event. Please come prepared for Tasmaniaās changing weather with a hat, raincoat and suitable clothing. Keep an eye on Playgroup Tasmaniaās social media for any weather-related updates or changes.
