TECH IN ACTION
Tech in Action is a free regional student innovation, STEAM and workforce showcase at Hilton Concord. Middle school, high school, college and community innovators bring projects, prototypes, programs and live demonstrations into public view.
Home of the I-680 Corridor Education Challenge, Tech in Action asks: What does truly authentic education look like? Students answer by building, explaining and defending real work—beyond grades and test scores—to families, educators, colleges, employers, mentors and civic leaders across Contra Costa, Alameda, Santa Clara and Solano counties.
WHAT YOU'LL EXPERIENCE

WHO SHOULD REGISTER
• Students and schools: attend, submit a project or bring a program
• Families and community members: experience student innovation and career pathways
• Educators and colleges: connect programs with regional partners and emerging talent
• Professionals and civic leaders: mentor, judge, recruit or support
• Businesses and organizations: sponsor, exhibit, activate or recruit
Students do not need to submit a project to attend. Exhibitors must select the Student Exhibitor ticket and complete the project-submission process.
