𝕋 𝕖 𝕒 𝕞 _ 𝕎 𝕠 𝕣 𝕜Co se stane, když se přes digitální prázdnotu soundcloudových účtů protnou dráty z Lipska a louisianského Baton Rouge? V roce 2021 Lise (Maraudeur) a Ronni (Spllit) stvořili společnou entitu, jejíž debutový manifest Somebody’s Gotta Do It vznikal jako koláž na ose Německo, USA a Francie. Zvuk desky je utkaný z hutných basových linek, echem deformovaných vokálů a magnetofonových pásků, které občas požírají samy sebe. Žánrově se tahle hudební hmota přelévá od kousavého dance-punku až po tiché r'n'b, v němž perkuse kompletně nahradilo tikání hodin. Celá nahrávka je důkazem, že lze ošálit racionální uvažování, nechat se vést čistou intuicí a postavit kolektivní tvorbu nad vlastní ego.

Pražské trio hraje podle svých slov „sungaze“, což je prý zářivější, melancholický shoegaze s tváří otočenou ke slunci. Původní kytarové krasosmutnění z prvních EP se v klidném závětří jejich zkušebny postupně rozrůstalo a vytvořilo malý svět, kde vedle sebe koexistuje něha s industriální špínou. Na albu Hauau rozšířili svůj žánrový rozptyl od gothic rocku až po lo-fi pop s osobnější lyrikou. Dominika, Honza a Denis letos vydali svou interpretaci Murnauovy němé filmové klasiky v podobě alba Nosferatu: Blood Is Life!, kterou původně naživo doprovázeli v českých kinech.

Pražské undergroundové duo, které tvoří Tyko Say a Sandra Pasławska. Jejich společná, nejen žižkovskými bary lemovaná cesta začala v dubnu 2022 na vernisáži, kde odehráli spontánní set, jehož zadáním bylo „ženství a akutní nutkání močit“. Svůj syrový projev s nadsázkou definují jako „tongue punk“ a místo technické virtuosity sázejí na energii a moment překvapení. Na nástroje hrají záměrně netradičním a neurvalým způsobem, což doplňují provokativními texty, v nichž si punk podává svou upatlanou ruku s poezií ulice. Po lo-fi demu Singles aktuálně pracují na debutovém albu a pravidelně testují limity klubových pódií.

What happens when wires from Leipzig and Baton Rouge, Louisiana, cross through the digital void of SoundCloud accounts? In 2021, Lise (Maraudeur) and Ronni (Spllit) created a joint entity, whose debut manifesto Somebody’s Gotta Do It was shaped as a collage across Germany, the USA, and France. The album's sound is woven from heavy basslines, echo-distorted vocals, and tape loops that occasionally eat themselves. Genre-wise, this musical matter spills over from biting dance-punk to quiet R&B, where percussions are completely replaced by the ticking of a clock. The whole record stands as proof that you can trick your rational mind, let pure intuition take over, and prioritize collective work above your own ego.

The Prague-based trio plays what they call "sungaze" – a brighter, melancholic shoegaze with its face turned towards the sun. The original guitar-driven gloom from their first EPs gradually expanded in the quiet lee of their rehearsal space, creating a small universe where tenderness and industrial grit coexist. On the album Hauau, they've expanded their genre spectrum from gothic rock to lo-fi pop with more personal lyrics. This year, Dominika, Honza and Denis released their own interpretation of Murnau’s silent film classic in the form of the album Nosferatu: Blood Is Life!, which they originally accompanied live right in front of Czech cinema screens.

A Prague underground duo consisting of Tyko Say and Sandra Pasławska. Their shared journey, paved not only by Žižkov bars, began in April 2022 at an art opening, where they performed a spontaneous set prompted by the theme "womanhood and the urgent need to pee." They tongue-in-cheek describe their raw expression as "tongue punk," choosing energy and the element of surprise over technical virtuosity. They play their instruments in a deliberately unconventional, unruly manner, matching the sound with provocative lyrics where punk shakes its grimy hand with street poetry. Following their lo-fi demo Singles, they are currently working on their debut album while regularly testing the limits of club stages.
