Content
• Advanced anatomy and mechanics of breathing
• Philosophy and source of pranayama
• Techniques for nervous system regulation
• Methods of selecting pranayama practices appropriate to different yoga classes
• How to use props to enhance pranayama practice
Structure
• 1 hour of recorded content
• Intention-setting worksheet
• 5 hours of hands-on instruction and supervised practice
• Handouts including ready-to-teach lesson plans
• 30-minutes of online mentorship/support after graduation
Prerequisites
• Have completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training or equivalent (also open to non-yoga fitness and wellness professionals)
• Be regularly teaching classes (recommended)
Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Credits
This workshop will quality for minimum 6 CEUs through Yoga Alliance. Your instructor is a registered YACEP (Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider).
