About this Event
Location TBA
The Berkeley Forum is excited to welcome Wendy Kopp, founder of Teach For America and co-founder of Teach For All, for a conversation on educational equity, social entrepreneurship, and creating lasting social change.
At just 21 years old, Kopp turned her undergraduate thesis at Princeton into Teach For America, an organization that has since mobilized tens of thousands of leaders to expand educational opportunity across the United States. She later co-founded Teach For All, a global network of independent organizations working to address educational inequality around the world.
Join us as Kopp reflects on her journey from college student to nonprofit founder, the challenges of building and scaling mission-driven organizations, and what it takes to create meaningful change in education and beyond.
The event will feature a 45-minute moderated fireside chat followed by a 15-minute audience Q&A, giving attendees the opportunity to hear directly from Kopp and ask their own questions.
This event is free and open to the public.
