Looking to meet new people in Rzeszów and feel more confident speaking English? Join us for a free, relaxed evening of conversation at Nora Aktora. Come with friends or come solo - you don’t need to know anyone beforehand.
This time, we’re talking about books and the stories that stay with us: childhood favourites, unforgettable characters, books we couldn’t put down - and the ones we never finished.
What did you love reading as a child? Has a book ever changed the way you see something? And have you ever preferred the film to the book?
Whether you always have a book on the go, enjoy audiobooks or comics, or haven’t picked one up in years, you’re welcome. There’s no set book to read beforehand, and you can draw on stories you’ve watched or heard too. The theme is a starting point for conversation, not a test of literary knowledge.
☕ WHAT TO EXPECT
We’ll settle in from 18:00, start with introductions and warm-up questions, then get talking. Expect personal stories, a few friendly differences of opinion and perhaps a recommendation you’ll want to take home.
💬 ALL ENGLISH LEVELS WELCOME
From beginners to fluent speakers, everyone is welcome. Practise at your own pace and build confidence through real conversations. You don’t need perfect grammar or the “right” accent to join in.
