In the 1920s, a tea pad was where you gathered despite the law. Tea Pad returns to Baltimore on Thursday, December 10, at Stem & Vine, and our name isn’t a metaphor; it’s the venue. Same gathering, same jazz, same conversation. Tea Pad is not an infused event. We are a community, always empowering equity in the cannabis industry, and now empowering women to innovate and advance in it.

Tea Pad was born in Baltimore, and we’re thrilled to be here. On December 10, operators, cultivators, regulators, advocates, researchers, and people looking to join the industry come together for the fellowship the industry needs and the advocacy the region deserves.
Why this night matters
Every dollar raises funds for The Tea Pad Fellowship— a twelve-week program pairing a foundation in cannabis science and policy with a paid, mentored industry placement — built to move women from the margins of this industry into its labs, grow rooms, dispensaries, and boardrooms, with the goal of permanent employment. Fully funding one Fellow costs $15,000.

The Legal Stuff: Attendance Terms, Assumption of Risk & Release
By purchasing a ticket or attending Tea Pad DC ("the Event"), you acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. Eligibility and Entry. You are 21 years of age or older. Tickets are non-refundable for denied or revoked entry on these grounds.
2. Cannabis Consumption is Not Allowed. Tea Pad Foundation LTD does not sell, distribute, furnish, or supply cannabis or cannabis products.
3. Impairment and Transportation. You agree not to operate a motor vehicle while impaired. You are responsible for arranging safe transportation to and from the venue. Tea Pad Foundation LTD does not provide transportation and assumes no responsibility for your travel.
4. Release and Waiver. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release, waive, and discharge Tea Pad Foundation LTD, CannabizMD, LLC, their respective officers, directors, employees, volunteers, sponsors, vendors, and agents (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all claims, demands, liabilities, and causes of action for personal injury, illness, property loss, or damage arising from or related to your attendance at the Event, whether caused by the negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise, excluding only gross negligence or willful misconduct.
5. Indemnification. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claim, loss, or expense, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your conduct at the Event or your violation of these terms or applicable law.
6. Medical Attention. You consent to receive medical treatment deemed necessary in the event of injury or illness and agree that the Released Parties are not responsible for the cost of such treatment.
7. Federal Law Acknowledgment. You understand that cannabis remains a Schedule I controlled substance.
8. Photography and Recording. The Event may be photographed and recorded. By attending, you grant Tea Pad Foundation LTD a perpetual, royalty-free license to use your name, likeness, and voice in Event-related and promotional materials. Attendees who do not wish to be photographed may request an opt-out lanyard at check-in.
9. Conduct. You agree to comply with all venue rules, staff instructions, and Maryland law, including prohibitions on removing cannabis products from the premises, sharing products with non-registered individuals, and consuming outside designated areas.
10. Changes and Cancellation. Tea Pad Foundation LTD reserves the right to modify the program, speakers, or schedule, and to cancel or postpone the Event. In the event of cancellation, ticket purchases will be refunded at face value; the Released Parties are not liable for any other costs incurred.
11. Governing Law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
Ticket purchase constitutes acceptance of these terms.
