This small-group, hands-on workshop offers a welcoming introduction to Japanese tea ceremony. Rather than simply watching a demonstration, each participant will use a traditional bamboo whisk to prepare their own matcha.
During the session, you will:
• Learn the basic process of preparing matcha
• Use a traditional bamboo whisk and tea bowl
• Whisk and drink your own bowl of matcha
• Enjoy a Japanese sweet with your tea
All tea ceremony equipment is provided, and no previous experience is required.
