About this Event
We will gather in the Gallery at Sunny Bank Mills so that we can have tea and cake
together whilst we chat about projects we are currently working on, exhibitions we have
seen, and generally share in all things yarn and textiles.
This group is open to anyone who is passionate about textiles, whether that be weaving,
sewing, knitting or more. It will be a social event and everyone is welcome to participate as
much or as little they would like, there is no set agenda or teaching but rather the afternoon
is an opportunity to meet with like minded people and to be inspired. It is suitable for
beginners and beyond.
As well as chatting to our textile enthusiast Gallery team members, Agnis Smallwood, Sunny Bank Mills weaving tutor, will join several of these Tea & Textile
sessions throughout the term, so you can ask her advice as well if she is around.
The event itself is free but booking a ticket helps us know
