TEA & ALCHEMY WORKSHOP ~ April Edition

Robyn and I invite you to spend the evening steeped in alchemy and presence.

This collaboration brings together this potent energy with an understanding of living in the creativity of the moment, and the alchemy available to transform your experience.

This event offers the opportunity, not just to step out of busy-ness, but deeply reconnect with yourself and take a whole new understanding of experience forward with you.

Tea Ceremony:Tea ceremony is an invitation to presence. Lera is a master of the ritual, using the sensory focus and the beauty to offer powerful access to the full being of the moment.

Life Alchemy Workshops:

Life alchemy is – in a nutshell - understanding experience as self-creating. The evening offers a deep exploration (in the form of the conversation) of the idea that we are living in an experience we are creating for ourselves. A shift into this understanding offers clarity, alignment and ease. The power to create for yourself the life you want.

We will have dinner between tea ceremony and the workshop and our hope is that you can bring the same sensory presence to the food.

ABOUT LERA

Lera has been a devoted Student of the Leaf for many years. For centuries, Tea in the form of Chadao Practice has been used by Daoist Sages and Buddhist Monks for alchemy and transformation. Lera holds sacred spaces with the Medicine of Tea in Chadao tradition of Global Tea Hut, facilitating journeys from the head to the heart, to the intimacy of life itself. Tea as a sacred plant medicine creates this space for us to drop into the heart and just be.

Lera will lead a tea ceremony, inviting us to slow down and connect to presence. Deep presence, that, when connected to, can be an incredible source of power, vitality, inspiration and love. Tea ceremony is an invitation to slow down and go within, to savour, to feel, to sense ~ away from thinking and doing and into being.

ABOUT ROBYN (IN HER OWN WORDS)

Seven years ago, I was deeply depressed and chronically anxious, my entire experience was consumed by self-criticism, and I thought this was normal.

I also had cancer spreading through my body and a one-year-old daughter I was struggling to love. This seemed less normal.

When I realised with heaviness and a sort of relief that I did not want to survive, some part of me nudged me out of the the shame I felt and into a phone call with my lifelong friend and alternative practitioner Ian Watson.

And through his seeing me in my wholeness and the subsequent work I did with Ian and his colleague Carol Boroughs I experienced a massive shift in perspective.

AND THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING

I fell in love with my daughter, left my husband and started living.

I FELL IN LOVE WITH LIFE

Paradoxically, I felt less need to control everything and I breezed through cancer treatments with little attachment to the outcome. It is my belief that this was instrumental in my recovery. Loving ourselves deeply and allowing ourselves to BEfully is the best thing we can do for our health.

I found I could give myself permission to live, to love, and to feel and not only would I survive my feelings, but I would thrive.

I’m not going to add anything or take anything away, I’m just going to soak you in this understanding and it’ll change your life.
