An Opportunity to Share Kōrero, Strengthen Connection and Honour Our WhakapapaThis is an opportunity for us to come together, share kōrero, strengthen our connections, and acknowledge the whakapapa and relationships that unite our whānau across Te Parawhau ki Tai.
It is a chance to hear from our own whānau and learn from the kōrero that has been carried through the generations, sharing how Takahiwai, Titahi, Portland, Rewarewa, Toetoe and Otaika are connected and form part of our wider whakapapa.
Through sharing our stories, memories, knowledge and connections, we can build a deeper understanding of where we come from, how our whānau are related, and the relationships that continue to bind us together.
This is about creating space for kōrero, listening to one another, acknowledging those who came before us, and strengthening the whakapapa that connects us all.
He waka eke noa.
