*** Judging ***
First-tournament novices in the 3-0: https://static1.srcdn.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/28-Days-Later-Chimp.jpg
Anyone is welcome to judge regardless of gender identity.
We will be enforcing a strict judging requirement of (n-1)/2 rounded up. Judges must be available at least 3 rounds to count. Only dinos or varsities will count to the requirement, though novices are welcome to come to judge as well. Teams will be charged $80 per missing judge. Judging director is Rocco Spinozzi-D’Andrea.
*** Equity ***
Our equity officers will be Violet Whitmire (UVA, in-person), and TBD (TBD, probably virtual). At least the first, and probably the second, prefer to be contacted via FB messenger.
*** Food ***
Enjoying Saturday’s mystery meal: https://www.nme.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/28-years-later-new-main.jpg
We will provide dinner on Friday (pizza), breakfast on Saturday (bagels & coffee), and lunch on Saturday (TBD). We will accommodate dietary needs (vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, etc.), so please remember to include this in your school reg form. Contact Nile Mahmood or Hayden Shuker with any questions about dietary accommodations. The social will have pasta and hot chocolate.
*** Housing ***
Us waking you up:
Crash housing will be allocated first come first serve (some crash assignments may be at Penn/Drexel). Do reach out, especially if lodging costs are an issue for you, as unless turnout is unexpectedly high, we could probably house most teams, though sacrificing maximum floorspace comfortability and gender-exclusivity.
We have Saturday housing available.
Crash housing form: https://forms.gle/7XuScLPJMf3R9yb9A
For hotels, The Conwell Inn is the closest (it is on campus). Otherwise, there are several hotels in Center City.
*** Travel ***
Dream I-95 traffic: https://tinyurl.com/2zydach9
A map and directions with public transit and parking info can be found here. They don’t want us to tell you this, but secret parking hack: we live in a city and there’s free street parking if you can find an unmetered, unrestricted spot off-campus. Look on 11th and 10th Streets between Norris Street and Cecil B. Moore Avenue, or on 13th, 12th, or 11th just south of Cecil.
*** Miscellaneous ***
What to expect at the social: https://storage.googleapis.com/stateless-thedailyfandom-org/2021/05/c9a28783-28-days-rage-1024x499.jpeg
Temple University is a dry campus. Alcohol is prohibited on campus. Please do not bring any, you would be banned from buildings and our organization would face consequences.
We will be having a social at an off-campus private residence on Friday night! Contact Nolan Greenways for advance questions on post-third-round vibes.
