Montgomery's Starburst ignites the stage. Rossini's Overture to The Barber of Seville, one of the most exhilarating pieces of music ever written, will make you grin from ear to ear. Artist-in-Residence and oboist David Cyzak performs Vivaldi's Concerto in C Major, showcasing the oboe's remarkable range and expressive voice. Then Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 6 - the Pathétique - completed in the final days of Tchaikovsky's life and considered one of the most heartbreaking symphonies ever written.
