This exhibition,“Do Whatcha Wanna “ takes its name from The Rebirth Brass Band’s song, as it sums up the city’s diverse music culture . This photography exhibition celebrates the rhythm and soul of the New Orleans Music Scene in the 21st. century. This city is birthed in Jazz and is musically eclectic as its locals. This city’s soundtrack is on Fire every night from the smaller venues of bars and clubs, to the big stages of endless festivals. The musicians pictured are writing the future history of New Orleans music. Featuring work by local photographers, Lyra Lyricat , Shabazz Guice, and Vincent Simmons.
The show offers an intimate look at the the singers and musicians doing what they do, caught in a frozen moment of time, by the photographer.
Do Whatcha Wanna will remain up through the end of January, from 7pm to 1am, daily viewing hours.
