🍂 Join The Curious Travelers Circle for an immersive evening in the 1830s!For our October gathering, we’ll experience the Tavern Dinner: Harvest Feast at Carillon Historical Park. This is much more than simply having dinner—we’ll participate in the history surrounding it.
Our evening will begin at the Kettering Family Education Center, where we’ll be greeted before being escorted to the William Morris House and Hetzel Summer Kitchen. Costumed cooks will welcome us to the 1830s with interactive discussions and demonstrations of everyday 19th-century tasks.
After participating in preparations for the multi-course meal, we’ll gather around the table and dine by candlelight inside historic Newcom Tavern. Entertainment, dessert, and conversation will complete the evening.

This is a public event with only **24 seats total**, and seats are not being held specifically for our group. Please purchase your ticket directly through Dayton History as soon as you know you would like to attend:

Please also list any food allergies or dietary restrictions with your reservation. Wine and beer will be available for purchase during dinner. Because the evening includes hands-on historical activities, dress comfortably and according to the weather.
