About this Event
Grab a drink. Choose a class. Save the day.
This is no boring pub crawl, this is a fully interactive, narrative-driven Dungeons & Dragons–inspired tavern crawl where you are the heroes on your own personal adventure.
You and your group will embark on a 2-hour quest across four themed locations, each run by live actors portraying important Guild members with problems they are looking to solve with your help. There are no wrong answers—only consequences, alliances, and chaos.
These adventures are designed by award-winning game and puzzle designers (and not AI) and a ton of real production experience with backgrounds from Disney, WB Games, and more! (No Willy Wonka disasters here!)
🧙 HOW IT WORKS
Groups start every 20 minutes. Each group receives:
- Character cards
- A one-time-use class power
At each new location, you will meet fascinating NPCs who will present you with interesting dilemmas.
You’ll solve puzzles, make choices, drink potions, argue philosophy, and possibly die.
Yes. Die.
(Calm down death is not the end… or is it?!)
You do not need to have a single previous experience with Dungeons or Dragons in order to fully enjoy this experience. You do not need a certificate in rules lawyering, there will be very few rules, and lots and lots of bawdy fun.
🧑🎭 CHOOSE YOUR CLASS

Timing & Logistics
You and your group members will sign up for a specific start-time. Start times are staggered by 20 minutes, which allows you to move from location to location to meet the characters and solve their challenges before another group comes along. Most people complete their experience, with food stops, in about 2 hours. We encourage you to patronize the various establishments, but be warned that our actors do clock out and go home at a certain hour so if you linger too long, thems the breaks.
If you run into another group already talking with our NPC characters, please allow them some time to complete their interactions before approaching. Most locations have 2 actors so you can usually talk to one even if another is occupied.
COVID-19 Safety
Please adhere to the safety protocols outlined by each location you visit; bring a mask in case it is required by the venue. All of our staff are vaccinated and will put on a mask when requested.
Parking
Tons of very cheap parking is available at the city garages at 170 Centre St or 7 Jackson St. Please do not park at the Idle Hands parking lot as that lot is needed for regular customer traffic. Park in the city garages or street parking and walk over to Idle Hands-- it's a very brief walk!
Age Restrictions
This interactive story is playable by families, and most locations are restaurant/bars. There is no gore or bad language used, though you can expect some D&D-themed bawdy humor and lots of stupid puns. Ultimately, you know your kids better than us and we trust you to make decisions that are suitable for them.
Costumes
Costumes for the event are not required, though Pub Crawl staff will be dressed in totally sick fantasy clothing. If you enjoy dressing up, we highly encourage you to do so!
