24 hours. One kaupapa. Walking for our wāhine and tamariki.As part of the White Ribbon kaupapa, we invite you, your whānau and your networks to join us for Tauwhiro | Walk With Us, a 24-hour hīkoi standing against violence and strengthening our collective commitment to safer whānau and communities.
Event details
Tāne are invited to register individually or in teams of up to four, carrying the kaupapa forward throughout the full 24 hours. Registration is $50 per walker, with a dedicated space for participants to rest, recharge and recover between their walking commitments.
Throughout the event, local services will be sharing their kaupapa and connecting with whānau. There will also be kai stalls and opportunities for our wider community to gather, encourage our walkers and stand together.
You don't have to walk to be part of Tauwhiro. Whānau, friends and community supporters are welcome to attend free of charge.
