Headline Act – Meryl O’Rourke
Acclaimed stand-up comic and TV writer Meryl O’Rourke –revels in her bitterness. She has delighted comedy audiences, written some of the best gags on telly and even hosted pop concerts (last one to 12,000 people!).
She recently became the first winner of the Betty and Peter/Big Talk/LOCO writing prize, where she was gifted a chunk of money to help her write her first sitcom.
She has been a regular support for Frankie Boyle since 2010 where she opened for him at the Hammersmith Apollo. In his book Work!Consume!Die! he calls Meryl “Inspiringly funny”.
Middle Act – Michael Dott
Michael Dott is a story telling comedian originally hailing from Scotland now based in the Midlands. Frequently the butt of his own jokes he’ll tell tall tales that are ridiculous, relatable and hilarious.
Opening Act – Sam Michael
Tour Support for Al Murray, Matt Richardson & Fiona Allen. Sam Michael is fast becoming one of the most exciting voices on the UK comedy circuit, with a knack for spinning everyday chaos into side-splitting, sometimes delightfully absurd killer-comedy! The past year has seen Sam share the stage as a ‘support act’ with comedy heavyweights such as Al Murray, Matt Richardson, Sara Pascoe, Rosie Jones and Dom Joly.
MC – Dani Johns
She performs across the country at some of the UK’s best comedy clubs, festivals and live events, building a reputation as a high energy, warm and instantly engaging act. Dani is a highly sought after MC, where her natural charisma and quick thinking win over audiences from the moment she steps on stage.
Her comedy is best described as relatable chaos. With an energetic storytelling style and a tendency towards chronic oversharing, Dani finds the funny in everyday life, social awkwardness and the things we probably shouldn’t admit out loud… but absolutely recognise.
