Autumn is a perfect time to prepare herbal remedies from nature for the season ahead. In this Taste of Place workshop, learn how to identify and use several healthful wild plants growing at Roselle Park. Join Ada Parks & Recreation with partner Lea Sevigny of Joyful Wildcrafting in this make-and-take event to craft a wild Elderberry syrup. Participants will work with the plants on site, gaining confidence to recreate the plants' gifts on their own.
This wildcrafting workshop includes both indoor and outdoor components, so come prepared for the weather.
