A modular programme which builds a fundamentally new paradigm for business - Task Orientation®
About this Event

Momentum’s systemic thinking has identified that the vast majority of errors made at work are traceable to just a very few mindsets and thinking habits. The Task Orientation® Foundation Year progressively eliminates errors at work, delivering in their place a performance-enhancing mindset which contributes to an increasingly productive organisation.

TASK ORIENTATION® - FOUNDATION YEAR

For the organisation, the foundation year delivers:

  1. Employees capable of upgrading their own mindset and behavioural skill sets
  2. A performance orientated open feedback culture in which people take greater and greater responsibility for their results
  3. A unified and focused approach to tangible delivery of business objectives

For the employee, the year delivers:

  1. Systemic thinking to predict and alleviate problems at work before they occur
  2. Confidence and self-esteem based on ability to deliver
  3. The ability to cut through corporate talk and build a personal brand based on high-quality insight and an ability to accelerate delivery

The Foundation Year

A modular programme which builds a fundamentally new paradigm for business - Task Orientation®. The approach develops systemic thinking to enable wise and sustainable decisions. Developing a Task Orientated® paradigm facilitates organisational unity and prevalent agreement on how to achieve ‘best possible outcomes.’ Task Orientation® has a proven track record for:

  1. Achieving supplier of choice status
  2. Enabling teams to deliver 30% more in 30% less time
  3. Solving problems which could not be solved using any other mindset

Further information about Task Orientation® and its results can be found here.

Task Orientation® is progressively developed in the context of several different business skill sets, each skill set has a dedicated module:

Task Orientated® Negotiation – 4 days, 29 September - 2 October 2025

Introduces the new paradigms and thinking associated with Task Orientation®. The module:

  1. Provides a common frame of reference for problem-solving
  2. Enables people to generate clear rationale to achieve buy-in to grounded decisions
  3. Eliminates team and organisational conflict
  4. Builds collaborative work ethic
  5. Builds personal and team confidence

Task Orientated® Feedback – 2 days, 27 - 28 January 2026

Deepens people's understanding and capability in Task Orientation® and initiates an open feedback culture. A culture which discourages endless opinion stating about everyone else’s work and focuses attention on what’s required to deliver on the job. The module:

  1. Shows how focused feedback can upgrade the quality of any job or project
  2. Reduces defensiveness and improves receptivity
  3. Enables the delivery of powerful feedback without aggression
  4. Reduces hierarchical constraints
  5. Builds self-esteem and confidence

Task Orientated® Meetings – 2 days, 12 - 13 May 2026

Clarifies why most organisations are only delivering approximately 30% of their potential, simultaneously delivering practical skills which cut through the stagnancy and inertia. The module:

  1. Increases team cohesiveness
  2. Brings structure and focus to meetings
  3. Improves decision-making so avoiding the need for endless reviews
  4. Creates an inclusive culture

Task Orientated® Writing – 2 days, 8 - 9 September 2026

Demonstrates the direct connection between the way people communicate and the ensuing organisational drama which distracts everyone from significant business priorities. Organisational drama only serves to build resentment and division which leads to longer term employee and client disengagement. The module:

  1. Enables the organisation to build a good brand with its clients
  2. Makes the organisation more purposeful
  3. Develops clarity of thinking in both the writer and the recipient
  4. Shortens the time it takes to get anything done

Participants on the programme are introduced to mindsets and thinking habits which can game change the performance of most . Many business problems are solved even before people leave the training.

Who should attend?

  1. Anyone responsible for organisational performance; increasing productivity and profitability, employee engagement, positive mental health, people development and culture change.
  2. Senior leaders (C-Suite), commercial roles responsible for business development and HR, L&D roles responsible for organisational change and people development.
  3. Professionals keen to progress their own development.
