Tarot 1 Workshop Getting to know your 78
Hi all!
Upon popular demand your favorite sister duo is offering a tarot workshop!
This workshop will be a semiformal discussion of the tarot deck and how to read it. It is open for practitioners of all skill and comfort levels. Our plan is to discuss the Fool’s journey by briefly visiting each of the major arcana cards and the generally accepted meanings of the minor arcana story arch. In this class you will be provided with the basic astrology, numerology, an elemental references each tarot deck uses so that you meet any deck with a solid foundation of knowledge.
We will also spend some time looking at the decks we own and how they differ. Once we have the strong foundation described above, we can start to look at the subtle and intentional differences that we have to rely on our own intuition and energy to read.
What to expect:
What is tarot?
What astrology is in every deck
Basic tarot numerology
Elemental references in tarot
Fool’s journey from 1-10 in all suites
Brief explanation of each major arcana card
Discussion about how color, art and characters are used to create variation from basic meaning
Discussion about tarot vs oracle
Discussion about why your deck speaks to you
We want you to leave this class feeling a little more confident in your tarot fundamentals and in your ability to read intuitively. Each reader is different, as is each Fool’s journey, and we want to help you explore how the cards you’ve chosen help you better understand yours.
