Tarot Foundations: A Deep Dive into Story, Self & SymbolismTarot is so much more than memorizing the meanings of 78 cards.
It can be a tool for self-discovery, intuition, reflection, shadow work, decision-making and recognizing the patterns and themes moving through our lives. It can also become a language through which we learn to trust ourselves a little more deeply.
Tarot Foundations is a six-session, beginner-friendly journey into the cards and the stories, archetypes and symbolism held within them.
Beginning January 6th we’ll gather every other Weds from 6–8 PM in our cozy space at Forest, Stone & Sea. This course is intentionally limited to just 8 participants so we have room for conversation, questions, practice and deeper exploration together.
Rather than approaching tarot as something you simply memorize, we’ll learn how to actually build a relationship with the cards.
Throughout our time together, we’ll explore the structure of the tarot, the Major and Minor Arcana, the four suits and their elemental correspondences, court cards, archetypes, recurring symbols and imagery, intuitive reading, storytelling within the cards, and how tarot can be used for personal reflection and inner work.
We’ll also spend time practicing how cards speak to one another, how to begin reading without immediately reaching for the guidebook, how to ask meaningful questions, and how to develop a tarot practice that feels grounded in your own intuition and discernment.
No previous tarot experience is necessary.
Your registration includes:
• Six 2-hour guided classes
• Your own Rider-Waite-Smith tarot deck
• A course workbook created specifically for this series
• Guided exercises and reflection practices between gatherings
• Hands-on reading practice
• An intimate learning environment with plenty of room for questions and conversation

Because this is a progressive course and each gathering builds upon the one before it, registration is for the full series rather than individual classes.
And if you feel genuinely called to this course but are experiencing financial hardship, please reach out to us by email. We never want finances to be the only thing keeping someone from meaningful learning and connection.
Whether you’ve never picked up a tarot deck before, have owned one for years but still find yourself constantly reaching for the guidebook, or simply want to deepen your relationship with the cards, you are welcome here.
Come learn the cards.
But more importantly, come learn how to listen to what they awaken in you.
