Tap dancing is a classic American art form created from the fusion of European folk dances (like the Irish jig and English clogging) and West African step dances. In Tap Level III, students focus on Broadway-style tap, studying rhythmic sounds, patterns, and foundational technique. Dancers learn to play an instrument with their feet while building musical timing, precision, physical control, and step memorization.
