About this Event
As part of our mission to bring faith, healing, hope, and joy to the Brainerd Lakes community and beyond, we're honored and excited to welcome Tanner Kalina to the beautiful Gichi-ziibi Center for the Arts. A former Hollywood actor and comedian, Tanner is a disciple of Jesus, sharing his powerful and deeply personal brand of ministry through his best-selling books, faith-based comedy videos, Saints Alive podcasts, and videos from Ascension Press. Drawing on his personal experiences, Tanner will share what it looks like to think, act, pray, and love like Jesus in ordinary life. Designed for adults and kids alike, this highly entertaining evening with Tanner will be safe, meaningful, and memorable for the whole family.
Don't miss another incredible opportunity presented by the Brainerd Speaker Series, again hosted at the Gichi-ziibi Center for the Arts on Wednesday, November 4th! Mark your calendar!
As with all Brainerd Speaker Series events, this is a community event open to the public. Reserve your seats and invite your friends, family, teachers, coaches, coworkers, and neighbors to this event. Ask about special group seating discounts for your church or organization.
Tanner's new book "All Your Heart" will be available for purchase and book signing after the show. All Your Heart helps you step into an integrated life where the mind, will, and heart are all focused on Christ, inviting readers to:
· Understand what the “heart” actually refers to in Scripture
· Recognize the difference between an attached heart and a heart open to God
· Close the gap between what you believe in your mind and how you actually live
· See how Christ heals and reorders the heart through grace and formation
· Learn what it looks like to think, act, pray, and love like Jesus in ordinary life
· Experience the freedom that comes from an undivided heart centered on God
